This policy covers both moderaristudio.com and overwhelm.moderaristudio.com (Sera), as both are operated by Jeni Sanderson trading as Moderari Studio and use the same minimal approach to cookies.
We have deliberately built our websites to minimise cookie usage. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party profiling cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
Where we collect usage data at all, we use privacy-first, cookieless tools that do not place cookies on your device and do not require your consent under UK PECR rules.

We use Netlify Analytics on the Sera, which operates entirely server-side. It does not place any cookies on your device and does not track you individually. No consent is required for this under UK PECR rules.
We may add Cloudflare Web Analytics in future, which is also cookieless and privacy-first by design.
We do not and will not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other cookie-based analytics or advertising tracking on our sites without updating this policy and obtaining appropriate consent.
The local storage items described above are strictly necessary for the Sera to function — without them, the tool cannot track your free session allowance or keep you logged in. Under UK PECR, strictly necessary storage does not require consent. You are informed of this use here.
Our sites may embed fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google Fonts has been configured to not set cookies when fonts are loaded. No other third-party cookies are set on our sites.
When you click through to Stripe to make a payment, you will be on Stripe's own website and subject to Stripe's cookie policy (stripe.com/gb/privacy). We have no control over cookies set by Stripe on their domain.
You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that doing so will reset your free session count and log you out of the Sera if you are a subscriber.
In most browsers you can manage cookies and local storage via:
Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data
Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data
If we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy before doing so and, where required by law, seek your consent. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
